Absolutely. Training isn’t just for “fixing” behavior—it’s about building connection, communication, and confidence. Even good dogs can benefit from better focus, calmer walks, or simply something engaging to do. 

At UpDog Training, we specialize in building focus and confidence for both dog and owner and teach Foundations (basic obedience) for the real world, behavior modification, emotional regulation for dogs at every stage of life, puppy to senior.

Emotional regulation is a training approach that helps dogs with big feelings (think: excitement, worry, frustration) learn think before they react, and focus on their handler. It’s ideal for reactive, distracted, sensitive, or easily overstimulated dogs—and helpful for almost every dog-human team.  

Not every dog is ready for a group class, and that’s okay. We can start with private sessions, or recommend a semi-private class or workshop that’s a better fit. Our priority is setting both you and your dog up for success. 

Yes! We offer private training for everything from basic manners to complex behavior cases. Private sessions are a great option if you want a personalized plan, a quieter setting, or a little extra support. 

Absolutely. Our Encore Club offers lifelong learning and enrichment for older dogs. Whether you want to brush up on skills, build confidence, or simply give your dog something fun to do, we’ve got you covered. 

Yes, at UpDog Training we are Certified Professionals with extensive experience in dog training and behavior. We believe in continued education, and are continually adding to what we have to offer you and your dog!

When scheduling your sessions, we do so carefully. Once we book you in there are no cancelations, rebooking or refunds. There is alot of personalized work that goes into planning each and every session. Your dog doesn't want you to second guess your decision to get them the help they need to make things easier for both of you. They need your consistency and commitment to succeed!
