Yes, the Big Feelings Program is run in our Low Distraction Classroom. It is critical for our dogs to focus in order to build the Foundational Skills. 

However, in some cases, the dog is fearful of the vehicle. We can make exceptions for these cases. Travel fees apply outside of  the town of Sundre.

You wouldn’t be here if things felt easy—we understand. We specifically build these programs to create a safe, supportive environment. If your dog needs a little extra help to get started, we  simply change the plan to meet them where they're at so they’re set up for success!

This class is for dogs who bark, lunge, freeze, panic, or shut down in everyday situations. Whether your dog is reactive, fearful, or just over-the-top excited, we focus on teaching emotional regulation, resilience, and choice-based skills. If your dog struggles in public or at home, you're in the right place.

The Big Feelings Program helps you understand your dog’s emotions, build trust, and give them the tools to feel safe and respond differently. This is the first step toward lasting change and a calmer, more connected life together. 

Some dogs do! The Big Feelings Program gives you a strong Foundation in handling skills and helps your dog gain the focus and confidence they need for more advanced or real-world training. We’ll help you decide when and how to take that next step.

Every dog is different and some dogs just dont enjoy other dogs, we will always help determine if group activities are beneficial for your dog.

Private sessions are offered as part of a package designed to give you the best results—not just a quick fix. Complex Behavior aka Big Feelings takes time, consistency, and a thoughtful plan. That said, if you’ve completed a program and want to book a follow-up or refresh session, we’re happy to offer that option.

Yes, Dogs MUST be up to date on vaccinations. Required are 4 way, Rabies & Bordetella. This is for the safety and well being of all dog in all programs, group and private. Current titer testing is acceptable.

When scheduling your sessions, we do so carefully. Once we book you in there are no cancelations, rebooking or refunds. There is alot of personalized work that goes into planning each and every session. Your dog doesn't want you to second guess your decision to get them the help they need to make things easier for both of you. They need your consistency and commitment to succeed!
